Dengue, chikungunya, Zika and malaria are on the rise in Pune. The number of patients is increasing each day. However, former corporator Amol Balwadkar came to the municipal corporation on Monday to wake up the administration, which is taking a 'sleeping song' as the Pune Municipal Corporation is not taking proper care to control these diseases. He drew the attention of the administration by patrolling the municipal area. Amol Balwadkar expressed an angry feeling that even now the administration will wake up and take care of the health of the citizens.

Outbreaks of vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, Zika and chikungunya have been on the rise in the Kothrud area over the past month. Due to the lack of proper planning by the municipality on Monday (d. 9) Chief Medical Officer. Amol Balwadkar meets Neena Borhade. He also discussed the problems being faced by the patients. Earlier, he also protested against the negligence of the municipal corporation.

The examination is being conducted by the district health department. However, there are no specific measures to prevent the disease. This has led to an increase in the prevalence of these diseases in societies, sedentary households, and housing complexes. Conducting inspection campaigns, issuing notices to citizens. This is being done by the health department of the state. But are these people getting the treatment they need? The government has taken no action regarding this. It would not be wrong to say that a patient is found in a nest in the area of Kothrud, Pashan, Baner. Elderly patients and children are suffering from this disease due to which families have to rush to the hospital. However, timely treatment is not enough.

Since there is no municipal hospital in the Kothrud area, the citizens have to get treatment in private hospitals, the cost of which is not affordable. Despite repeated requests to the authorities, the hospital is yet to be started. In order to make the administration aware of this alarming situation, the municipal area was fumigated today with a fogging machine. Amol Balwadkar said that the members of Amol Balwadkar Foundation and the citizens of Kothrud area were also present in large numbers on this occasion.

Diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya and encephalitis are on the rise in the district. Many patients complain of lack of treatment. For this, Self-Employment has started illuminating the premises of many societies, sitting houses, commercial establishments in the Kothrud area for the last fifteen days. A large number of calls are received throughout the day. The administration should take seriously the number of patients and the treatment they are not getting. - Amol Balwadkar
